This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used at drmustafayazir.com.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. It is used to make the site work properly, to remember your preferences, or to produce visit statistics.
Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage and pixel tags.
2. Which cookies does this site use?
drmustafayazir.com is a static site. As it has no membership, payment or session management, the number of cookies it sets on its own account is kept to a minimum. The contact form does not use cookies either; its security relies on a short-lived verification token embedded in the page. The only measurement tool, the Meta Pixel, is loaded only after you accept it in the cookie banner.
| Category | In use | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary cookies | Yes, where required | For the security and basic operation of the site. Without them the site may not work properly; they do not require consent. |
| Preference cookies | No | Language choice is handled through separate URLs (for example / for English, /tr/, /de/), not cookies. |
| Analytics cookies | Not currently used | If a measurement tool is added in future, this page will be updated. |
| Advertising / measurement cookies | Only with your consent | The Meta Pixel measures visits and the performance of our Meta (Facebook, Instagram) ads. It is not loaded unless you press “Accept” in the cookie banner. |
Meta Pixel
| Topic | Details |
|---|---|
| Provider | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (for users in the EU/EEA); Meta Platforms, Inc., USA |
| Purpose | Counting page visits, measuring the performance of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and building audiences for those ads |
| Data involved | The page visited, time, browser and device information, IP address, and the _fbp cookie identifier; if you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link the visit to your account |
| When it loads | Only after you press “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you press “Reject” or make no choice, no request is sent to Meta. |
| Cookies set | _fbp (first-party, up to 90 days); _fbc if you arrive by clicking one of our ads; Meta's own cookies on facebook.com |
| Your choice is stored | In your browser's localStorage (cerez-onay), until you clear site data or change it |
Changing your choice: you can withdraw or give consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw it, the _fbp and _fbc cookies are deleted and the pixel is no longer loaded. Information on how Meta processes data is available in Meta's Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
3. Embedded third-party content
This site includes third-party content that loads only when you choose to activate it. Such content can set its own cookies, and those cookies are not under our control.
| Content | When it comes into play | What it may set |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube videos (home page and nose surgery pages) | No request is sent to YouTube when the page loads. A video is loaded from the youtube-nocookie.com domain only when you press play. | Google/YouTube cookies and identifiers after playback starts |
| Google Maps (contact page) | The map is loaded only when you press “Show map”; otherwise the address link simply takes you to the Google Maps site. | Google cookies and identifiers after the map loads |
| Social media links | When Instagram, YouTube or Facebook links are clicked | That platform's cookies (on its own site) |
| WhatsApp link | When the WhatsApp button is clicked | Records created on the WhatsApp/Meta side |
The use of cookies by these services is governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the companies concerned. To learn more you should review those policies.
4. Server logs
Independently of cookies, the server hosting the site may keep technical records: IP address, browser information, the page requested and a timestamp. These records are kept for site security and error tracking. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
5. How can you manage cookies?
You can change your consent for the Meta Pixel at any time through the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If strictly necessary cookies are blocked, parts of the site may not work correctly.
| Browser | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Chrome | Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies |
| Safari | Settings → Privacy → Manage website data |
| Firefox | Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data |
| Edge | Settings → Cookies and site permissions |
You can also use your browser's private browsing mode so that cookies are cleared at the end of the session.
6. Changes
This policy will be updated if a new tool (for example an analytics package or another advertising pixel) is added to the site or if the way the Meta Pixel is used changes. The effective date is shown at the top of the page.
